The digital transformation of healthcare is touching every aspect of our working lives, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only served to accelerate this. Nowhere has this been more impactful than in the way we consult with patients, and for many of us, remote consulting has become part of the new normal. With these rapidly moving changes come new challenges and opportunities
The teleconsultation webinar series
This webinar series consists of four modules which will provide an opportunity to reflect on the challenges of working in this way. COVID-19 forced rapid adoption of telemedicine across the globe, replacing the traditional consultation model with consultations via phone, messaging or video. Teleconsulting with patients and colleagues requires utilisation of new skills and knowledge, adaptation of communication and a recognition of limitations.
It has been developed by senior medical educators, medicolegal consultants and clinicians who understand the emerging issues and the impact on your practice. Reviewing evidence and research from across the globe we identify the pitfalls and draw out best practice learnings that can improve patient outcomes and decrease your risk.
