During these difficult times for the people affected by Storm Desmond, Medical Protection wants to do what it can to support its members to keep the public healthy and safe. We know that those working in general practice are doing all they can to respond to any increase in demand for their services.

We can provide members in the affected areas with the reassurance that we will support them to work above and beyond their normal hours in such circumstances. We regard this as important humanitarian work and as such are happy to advise them their current membership will provide them with access to indemnity at no additional cost for any unprecedented extra work undertaken this weekend (5 and 6 December).
